Common Computing Facility

The computer labs housing more than networked computers cater to computing requirements of both staff and students. The computer labs offer a mix of Dual Core and Core 2 Duo and thin technology based terminals connected to servers. A dedicated 3 Mbps lease line has been installed to provide uninterrupted internet facility round the clock with 125 KVA UPS for backup.

GPTC also have two CADD lab facilities which provides a modern facility for instruction in a variety of computer software packages.

The Common Computing Facility (CCF) forms an important component of the Institute’s infrastructure, providing a wide spectrum of services to the students as well as faculty and staff involved in research and other academic activities.
