Entrepreneurship Development Club (ED Club)
Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Kerala formulated a scheme to set up Entrepreneurship Development Clubs in our institution to inculcate Entrepreneurial Culture amongst youth and equip them with the skills, techniques and confidence to act as torch-bearers of Enterprise for the new generation.The objectives of Entrepreneurship Development Club are to inculcate entrepreneurship qualities, to sensitize industrial scenario of the state, to nurture the latent entrepreneurial talent, develop awareness among its members of the attitudes, values, and skills of successful entrepreneurs around the globe etc.

CE-CELL ACTIVITIES AT GOVT.POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE KALAMASSERY
Continuing Education Centre was established in Government Polytechnic College, Kalamassery in 1998. An Advisory Committee Named Institution Programme Implementation Unit (IPIU) was constituted consisting of Principal, Head of Departments/Senior faculty and Manager.The Centre for Continuing Education Centre (CCEK) conducts Professional Diploma in Industrial Instrumentation & Fire & Safety (PDIFS),Professional Diploma in Industrial Electrical & Electronics Engineering (PDIE), Professional Diploma in Enterprise Network Engineering (PDENE), Professional Diploma in Fiber Optics & Digital Security System (PDFDS), Professional Diploma in Civil & Construction Engineering (PDCCE), Professional Diploma in Automobile & Mechanical Engineering(PDMAE), Professional Diploma in Logistics & Shipping Management(PDSL). The Centre has tie-up with Centre for Continuing Education, Kerala(CCEK) and National Skill Development Corporation Training Partner(IIB Education, TVM). Duration of the courses is one year. The annual intake of the students is 1000 Nos.
